A Poem of Wonder and Temptation
As I peer outside my window,
A world of beauty lies before me,
I’m lost in awe and wonder,
Enchanted by what I see.
The trees sway in the gentle breeze,
Their leaves whisper a lullaby,
The birds chirp, a symphony of peace,
And I can’t help but sigh.
The colors of the world outside,
So vibrant, so rich, so bright,
A feast for the eyes, a wonder to behold,
My heart swells with a newfound delight.
In the midst of this wondrous scene,
A woman stands in a dress of gold,
Her hair cascades in a silky sheen,
My heart flutters, my senses unfold.
What secrets does she hold within?
What mysteries does her world possess?
I am enchanted, I cannot begin,
To resist this temptation to confess.
