From the moment I first glimpse your form,
My eyes betray the passions in a storm.
And in this state, they’ve come to hold,
Your silhouette, an art of gold.

When your lips murmur my name,
A thousand stars ignite in flame.
Echo again, beloved, that sweet decree,
For no music rivals your melody.

Never can words portray,
The depths my love seeks to convey.
How vast? How wide? A mystery,
As boundless as the open sea.

Paint me a star in your midnight skies,
Its twinkling mirrored in your eyes.
Engrave me as a word in your life’s tale,
To be recounted long after our trail.

For you, my love, I’d live twice,
On the breadth of time, I’d pay the price.

Should you ask for more years from me,
I’d give the ones that are yet to be.
Content and elated, I’d surely be,
With your presence, my life’s symphony.
