Google is taking a huge step towards protecting our digital privacy by phasing out third-party cookies on their Chrome browser by 2024. This is big news for all of us who have been concerned about our online data being tracked and shared without our knowledge or consent.

But Google is not the only player in this game. Many other browser providers and technology companies have already taken steps to protect user data and give us more control over what we share online. Take iPhone users, for example. Since the beginning of 2021, they’ve had the option to opt out of sharing their data with third-party companies, and many have taken advantage of this feature.

We live in a digital world where our personal information is constantly collected and used for marketing and other purposes. It’s time to regain control of our online data and protect our digital privacy. Let’s embrace this change and support the movement towards greater control over our online lives.
