How can I explain the unexplainable, my dear?
How can I measure the expanse of my sorrow and fear?
For my sadness, like a child, grows each day,
In beauty and grace, it blossoms and sways.
Let me say in every language, known and unknown,
My love for you, my heart has shown.
Let me search for words that match my yearning,
And cover the space of our love’s burning.
With water, and grass, and jasmine sweet,
Let me think of you, our souls to meet.
Let me long for you, in the depth of the night,
Cry and laugh for you, in the tender light.
And bridge the gap between fantasy and truth,
As our love unfolds, in age and youth.
Let me call upon you, with every letter and sound,
Perhaps as your name echoes, in my lips you’ll be found.
Let me build a kingdom of passion and grace,
Where you are the queen, and our love takes place.
In this realm, I’ll become the greatest lover to be,
Let me lead a revolution, for all the world to…
