I swear there’s no woman but you
Who mastered the game, who was true
You bore my foolishness with grace
For five long years at your pace
And you tolerated my craziness with a smile on your face.

You wrote my stories and counted my days
You took me to childhood’s sweet place
No other woman could compare
With your wisdom, your intellect, and your flair

You took half my heart with a glance
And claimed my soul with a dance
You treated me like a child so small
With milk, flowers, and toys in hand, you enthralled.

You were my ocean, my gentle shore
My poetry, my beauty, and more
You guided me, and you broke me too
And made my childhood last fifty moons

You can claim to be the essence of women all
For in your heart lies this world’s center and call
The trees bow down as you walk by
And streams drink from your snow-white thigh
The summer breeze carries your scent for all to see
Only you embody the essence of…
