In the Constellation of Our Desire
A Symphony of Enraptured Hearts
In the sonnet’s sphere, where feelings pirouette,
Where passions, like dancers, in rhythm are set,
I will weave a tale of fervor’s delight,
Our love ablaze, in the curtain of the night.
Above us, the stars play a silent scene,
You, my darling, aglow in moonlight’s sheen,
Shall shed your earthly cloak in tender hours,
Igniting my yearning, empowering its powers.
In my arms, your twin moons ascend to the sky,
Their glow, a divine trophy, held ever high,
In our souls’ soft tangle, basking in the glow,
I lose myself in love’s entrancing show.
Murmurs of rapture, secrets we shall keep,
Within our world’s bounds, where enchantments steep,
My kisses fall like sweet forbidden rain,
Each secret touch, a symphony of flame.
Our forms intertwined, a canvas of desire,
Passion’s fire climbing ever higher,
Love’s limitations blissfully we’ll defy,
As I quench my longing with a soft lullaby.
