I love you, and I’ve made my decision,
So to whom should I present my excuses,
No one holds sway in love,
My sway towers above,
For my opinion is my own, and my choice is mine,
These are my feelings, so please don’t interject,
Between the sea and the sailors,
What do I fear? What do I fear?
And I am the ocean, and you are the shore,
From my rivers and streams,
What do I fear? Who do I fear?
I am the one who sleeps through time with a harp in hand,
I am the keys to this poem in my hand,
Given to me by a king and from a master,
I have made poetry into warm bread,
What do I fear? What do I fear?
I am the one who made the stars into rings for my fingers,
And the planets into my orbits and friends,
Leave me be and don’t speak,
For I am the one who holds court with women and chats,
And I am the one who gives secret gifts of love,
To those who stand at the door of my shrine,
I arrange my kingdom and maps,
I am the one who chose the color of my sea,
In love, I am in control and dominant,
In every love, I taste colonization,
So surrender to my will and desire,
And welcome the rain of my childhood,
If I have something to say,
I will say it to the one who has power,
Your eyes are my only religion and law,
My ships, friends, and path,
If I have a homeland, then your face is my homeland,
Or if I have a house, then love is my home,
You are my queen and my ruler…
