The Illusion of Love
Searching for a dream that vanished into thin air
For days, months, and years, I searched for her. Every alley, every street, and every direction I took led me nowhere. But then, as if fate had finally taken pity on me, I saw her in a restaurant. My heart stopped, and I was paralyzed for a full four minutes.
I gazed at her like an art connoisseur before the Mona Lisa or Guernica. She was like the most beautiful painting that come to life. Her eyes held the beauty of the universe within them, with gardens, flowers, forests, and rivers all reflected in their clear depths.
And then, I heard her voice — a musical phrase that combined questions and answers. It was like the song of a nightingale, beautiful on all scales. For a moment, the world around us faded away, and there was nothing but her and the beauty of her voice.
Finally, I snapped out of my trance and realized I had a chance. I approached her confidently and with a smile, ready to take the first step toward finally getting to know her. But as I got closer, the distance between us seemed to grow rather than shrink.
