The Lament of a Heart Lost in Shadows

In your eyes, the relentless waves crash, their mournful resonance echoing through the hollow chambers of my soul. I grapple with the shadows of my despair, confined within walls that echo with the haunting cries of looming desolation.

Sing once more that melancholic tune. Your voice, a dim beacon, guides me through veined pathways of sorrow. I lay fragile dreams upon your hands, but you see flowers dripping with venom and butterflies armed with talons.

Stitch the gashes that scar my essence, for I cast no blame. I stand as the last sentinel, a lone seagull, unyielding even as lesser creatures claim my shores. My pain, a withering bloom; my lifeblood, the meager sustenance of fading hope. Sing that dirge again so I might measure the ebbing sands of my existence.

You are the final lament, the sanctuary where my heart seeks refuge in the abyss of your gaze. You are the shroud that conceals my silent screams. And as the dirge dwindles, know this truth: my love is unwavering, even as the heart sinks in its despair.

Emerge from my gaze, a sun obscured by the darkest clouds, for I am the ember on the brink of extinction. Rise from my words as a distant star, for I am the path to oblivion. And from my tears, manifest as a…
