The Power Within

Embracing Self-Worth and Overcoming Fear of Judgment

From time ago, I’ve found my strength
And shielded myself from all disgrace
Fearful of what people may say
Preferring one over another, they’ll sway

If wealth had once been mine to claim
No longer do I fret if it wanes
Those who see me as lacking
Only their own vision is cracking

And those who see me in a flawed light
Their perspective is not mine to fight
For in my eyes, I’m complete and whole
With flaws and all, I’m in control

For I’ve come to realize the power within
To embrace self-worth and overcome the din
Of judgmental voices and societal norms
My soul is free to take any form

So let them speak, those who criticize
For my true value is not in their eyes
I’ll stand tall, my spirit unbroken
My power within, a truth unspoken.
