A Poetic Ode to Feminine Mystique

You, who sway and twirl,
A strand of silk, a precious pearl,
A sweet bird’s smile, a fragrant swirl,
A dance of beauty, a flowing swirl.

You, a burning letter,
In my fragrant waters, so much better,
Whispered words, a glowing fetter,
Inscribed with love, a gentle setter.

Brown or red or soulful hue,
A teary, barefoot you,
In a field of murky blue,
A spark of fear, that grew.

A blonde umbrella above,
A harsh, deserted love,
Folded and wrapped, a silver dove,
On a bed of secrets, to prove.

Or a teapot’s gleam, frozen,
On my hill of delight, chosen,
Or are you, my love, a woven,
Embroidered curtain, a beauty unbroken.

A castle built of colored tears,
A path that’s paved with souvenirs,
A butterfly in a pond, in fears,
A broken star on rocky tiers.
