The desolate places, so bleak and bare,
Once teeming with life, now empty and rare.
The wide streets, once filled with laughter and joy,
Now hold only tears, a sign of what’s destroyed.

The wilted flowers, once so bright and bold,
Now withered away, no love left to hold.
And here I am, wandering these lonely roads,
Searching for you, hoping for a sign to behold.

I pick the faded flowers and leave them behind,
On a white marble stone, they’re all I can find.
The darkness engulfs me, as I sink deeper down,
In a world of anger and bitterness, no light can be found.

But you, my love, you dance with the stars,
Your beauty shines bright, no matter where you are.
You sew your love garments from the sunset’s red hue,
And weave your love songs with the morning dew.

As for me, I am weary of the search,
The fire of my pain, so hard to extinguish.
I beg for mercy, to be one with the sand and stone,
To find peace at last, in this lonely
