In distant dreams, I yearn for thee,
Yet, in my heart, you’re close to me.
How can I see you slip away,
When you’re my love, my only stay?

Who can heal my wounded soul,
Without a hint of anguish, whole?
You were the balm, my sweet release,
You were the cure, my heart’s own peace.

I couldn’t resist your tender allure,
My heart swelled, longing for more.
You filled my being with deep desire,
Alas, I live alone, forlorn in mire.

Why do I see you turn away,
Without a trace, without delay?
Like the moon, you shine so bright,
Like nectar’s taste, you’re my delight.

You were fashioned as a solitary moon,
Your eyes like milk, like treasures strewn.
Your love, my soul’s eternal guide,
Like a melting candle, my heart’s tied.

Oh, my God, what artistry You possess,
Cloaked in a robe of silkiness.
How can I forget you, my dear,
Does your desire answer my sincere?

In this romantic tone, my words do sway,
To capture the essence of passion’s display.
With every line, my heart beats anew,
For you, my love, forever true.
